UnGoogleMe is an unofficial plugin for Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome that allows you to remove search results from search engine.
The idea behind UnGoogleMe is to allow people to control what is available about them online. If you don't want your name appearing in search results, this plugin adds a 'delete' button next to results which will blacklist it for the future. As well as deleting single results, there is a 'delete all' button, allowing you to permanently remove any mention of your name from the internet.
Ironically, UnGoogleMe relies on a blacklist that requires you to have cookies enabled in your browser - meaning it's not entirely ideal for people wanting to remain as anonymous as possible!
UnGoogleMe is extremely simple, but works surprisingly well, allowing you to remove any unpleasant or unwanted information from search engines. The range of search engines UnGoogleMe works with is increasing all the time
